Introducing Tim Marsh – Claims Consultant extraordinaire and most definitely the guy you want on your team should you ever have to make an Insurance Claim.
Tim is a country boy through and through – born in a regional Victoria border town and moving to Bendigo with his parents when he was only 2 years old. The decision to move to Bendigo was primarily driven by his parents desire to ensure that Tim would have access to quality education opportunities as he grew up whilst still enjoying the aspects of living in regional Victoria.
Tim attended a very small primary school on the outskirts of Bendigo which he remembers at some times having less than 30 students enrolled. One of his favourite memories of his years at primary school was watching the snow fall out the windows and settle on the oval. As is the way in Bendigo, Tim then attended high school for years 7 to 10 before heading off to Bendigo Senior for his VCE years – Bendigo Senior allowed to focus on his passion at the time which was IT – a career which he pursued after leaving secondary school. Tim worked in and around the IT industry for 10 years, whilst also moonlighting at Bunnings – a job he loved immensely and built many strong friendships whilst there. He then entered the world of insurance in 2014 and was able to utilise all his previous skills and knowledge as a solid background for his present role as claims consultant.
Tim and his husband moved to the Ballarat region in 2013 and both still thoroughly enjoy the country lifestyle, living on 5 acres just outside of Ballarat. They share their home with 2 dogs, a cat & 2 pet pigs named Lizzie & Snuffles.
Tim’s role as Claims Co Ordinator for Simplex Insurance Solutions sees him providing consistent support and assistance to all our clients whenever it comes to the management of their claims. Our team has always put a high level of importance on providing a high level of claims support as it is at claim time that our value is really put to the test. He’s the guy that you hope you never need to be talking to but if you end up making a claim – you’ll be very glad to have him by your side.
